A Riddle

Kings proclaim to have it,

none can take its place,

obtained by finds

when wary minds

leave mischief to disgrace—

evil tries to hide it,

disguised as wisdom’s store—

govern the ear, the eye keep clear

eternal truth from shore to shore.
